The
Faces of Rescue
If There….
If there’s one
thing I’ve learned in the last fifty years
It’s that regardless of stature we must face our fears.
Stand up for the weak and hold high your head
Summon up courage, show kindness instead.
I’ve found a way to see life’s full of grace
And feel it in my soul when I see a Golden face.
They smile no matter how bitter or sad,
How lonesome they are or treated so bad.
When I look in their eyes I see nothing but love
Surely they were sent from a power above.
I’m not sure why we are so deserving
But this kind of Faith is well worth preserving.
So the next time you see the abuse of this trust,
Step in and be counted because stop it we must.
Don`t let them be tied, left alone on a rope.
Because the animals my friends, are mankind’s last hope.
